Jury Seated in Diggs Assault Trial

A seven-person jury has been seated for the assault trial of former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who faces felony strangulation charges.

The trial, held at Dedham District Court, is expected to last two to three days. Diggs, 32, has pleaded not guilty to allegations that he strangled his former private chef during a December 2025 dispute over unpaid wages at his Dedham home. freshyourfeel.com

Prosecutors claim the incident involved assault and battery, while defense attorneys successfully argued to exclude reference to a prior alleged incident by the victim. Diggs was released by the Patriots in March and is currently a free agent.
